Any in person services are temporarily provided in a residential location.  We are currently in the process of obtaining the appropriate funding to expand into a commercial location.  Any online services or location which offers in person services will adhere to applicable laws and regulations.  Any products, services, and/or recommendations on this website and/or by Providers associated with Body Smirks are not intended to treat, diagnose, and/or replace other medical care requirements.

Providers with Body Smirks will not perform services until the Medical Intake Form is properly completed and signed.  Some information that is required to be agreed to by signature include the following:

• I understand that massage therapy as well as other Body Smirks services are provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, and improvement of circulation and energy flow.
• If I experience pain or discomfort of any kind during the session, I will immediately inform my service Provider so that appropriate techniques can be adjusted to my level of comfort. I will not hold my service Provider responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience before, during, or after the session.  Communication with your Provider is key for best results. 
• I understand that the services offered at the time of my session are not a substitute for other medical care requirements such as visits with your Doctor or other Provider. I understand that my service Provider is not qualified to perform outside of their realm of expertise such as spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, or prescribe physical or mental illness or other areas outside of their realm of practice.  It is recommended that I see a physician for any physical ailment that I may have.  I am aware that if I have any serious medical diagnosis I must provide a physician’s written consent prior to receiving my services. 
• I affirm that I have notified my service Provider and/or all appropriate Body Smirks team members of all known medical history, conditions, injuries, and preferences and will make the necessary adjustments to my intake form to keep my medical information up to date.
• I agree to update my Medical Intake Form as well as inform my service Provider of any changes in my health, medical condition(s), and preferences. I understand that there shall be no liability on the service Provider's part should I forget to do so.
• I understand that Massage Therapy as well as other services offered by Body Smirks LLC are entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.  The service Provider will not perform breast massage on any female clients without the written consent of the client prior to the appropriate session. Draping including but not limited to over the breasts, genital area, and gluteal cleavage will be used at all times during the session unless otherwise agreed to by both client and service Provider under the information box stating "Issue(s) to address: Describe your treatment goals. If you are uncomfortable for any reason, you may request a customizable preference or you may ask to end the session and the session will be ended.) Communication with your Provider is key for best results."
• I understand that if I need to cancel or reschedule my reservation, I will do so prior to 48 hours of my session start time so that time can be reserved by someone else or pay the appropriate fee according to Body Smirks cancelation policy which can be viewed in more detail by visiting https://www.bodysmirks.com/cancellation-policy.html.

Brief Overview of Body Smirks Cancelation/Reschedule Policy is below:                            -Cancelation/Reschedules within 48 to 24 hours of the session start time require 50% of the service price or acceptable alternative listed on our Cancelation Policy for additional scheduling.                                                                                                                                              -Cancelations/Reschedules within 24 hours of the session start time require 100% of the service price or acceptable alternative listed on our Cancelation Policy page for additional scheduling.                                                                                                                                              -No shows for missed appointments require 100% of the service price for additional scheduling.                                                                                                                           

• I understand that any guidance I receive from any Body Smirks LLC team member or Provider are only recommendations.  I will do my due diligence to research and implement these recommendations according to what I know and/or believe is best for my self care practices which are my responsibility.
• By signing this release, I hereby waive and release my service Provider, Body Smirks LLC, all employees of Body Smirks LLC, and any associates or organizations affiliated with Body Smirks LLC from any and all liability, past, present, and future relating to any services received.

​Although Diamond Ridge Pearl Park Apartments in San Antonio located near Loop 410 and Evers Rd. is where Ryan Potter's services are temporarily provided,  Diamond Ridge Pearl Park Apartments and its employees are not affiliated with, responsible for, and do not claim liability on behalf of Ryan Potter, his services, or Body Smirks.  Ryan Potter is not a representative of Diamond Ridge Pearl Park Apartments and acts as a Sole Proprietor for himself.  Ryan Potter does not claim to be affiliated or partnered with Diamond Ridge Pearl Park Apartments and its employees.  As a Sole Proprietor, Ryan Potter will not assume or expect that Diamond Ridge Pearl Park Apartments and its employees are responsible for any services provided by himself or on behalf of Body Smirks.
