I help clients everyday with postural complications. Many people have jobs that require sitting in front of a computer. Even if someone started out with good posture, the more they lean closer to the computer screen, the more muscle strain is cause. Each one of our head's is not as easy to carry as we might think. When holding a new born, people are inclined to always support the neck and head. As the new born ages, the muscle tissue strengthens allowing the baby to support it's own head. Each of our body's work similarly in the sense that muscular tissue as well as other tissues form and adapt to the habits or needs of the person. As the tissue is extended and strained for a long period of time, the tissue will begin to tighten to help support the needs and habits of the individual. It may not feel good when muscle tissue is tight, but that's what happens. Yogacan help strengthen muscular tissue supporting postural alignment in the skeletal structure of the body.
